Counselor
Brittany Avila, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling from LeTourneau University. She provides counseling for teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, emotional challenges, and relationship difficulties.
Brittany uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and expressive arts techniques. She also has experience conducting clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and crisis intervention support.
She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. Brittany believes therapy is not one-size-fits-all and tailors her approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. Her goal is to equip clients with practical tools and insight they can confidently apply outside the therapy office, fostering long-term resilience and growth.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking personal development, Brittany works collaboratively to help you gain clarity, build coping skills, and move forward with confidence.
Outside of counseling, Brittany enjoys reading, running, horseback riding, podcasting, and staying active in sports. She played collegiate softball at Northeast Texas Community College and LeTourneau University.
