I am a practicum student counselor finishing my advanced degree in counseling. After serving 21 years in the military, I have transitioned into the therapeutic space with a profound understanding of service, sacrifice, resilience, and the complex life transitions that follow a career in uniform.
Throughout my military career, I have witnessed firsthand the vital importance of psychological fortitude and inner peace. This lived experience shapes my counseling philosophy, which builds and nurtures the human spirit. I believe that true healing and personal growth occur when we address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—helping clients reconnect with their core values, rediscover their purpose, and cultivate lasting inner strength.
As a practicum student, I promise to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental, and culturally competent environment for veterans, active-duty service members, and individuals from diverse backgrounds navigating major life transitions, identity shifts, or personal hardships. With a holistic and collaborative approach, I walk alongside you on your journey toward mental wellness and spiritual renewal.
